For the uninitiated, ADMIT ONE is a regular musical production composed of four acclaimed local rock bands, namely Happy Meals, Cambio, Sugar Free, and Twisted Halo. Since its first show in November 2001, ADMIT ONE has become a monthly event, showcasing these four groups, as well as other local musical talents who deserve to be heard.

On November 9, 2002, ADMIT ONE celebrated its First Year Anniversary at a jampacked Freedom Bar. As early as 6:30 in the evening, a long queue of loyal rock fans waited patiently outside Freedom Bar, much to the surprise of everyone in the production, and even the Freedom Bar staff. The place was packed until 3am. It was a huge success.

During the last two (2) years, the following talents have graced ADMIT ONE:
Joey Ayala, Badburn, Cuidad, Chicosci, Happy Meals, Boldstar, Itchyworms!, Sandwich, Monsterbot, Mighty Man & Yuk, Imago, Razorback, Raul, Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man, Hidrofonics, Where's Joe, Cog, Einstein Chakkras, Pin-up Girls, Fish Trio, Sundown Muse, Severo, Too Late The Hero, Matilda, Romeo Lee and the Brown Briefs, Inky de Dios, Brash Young Cinema, Camote Chunks, The Company of Ateneo Dancers (CADS), Bridge, Kiko Machine, 10,000 Pogi Points, electronicamanila, Morse, Wolfmann, Soapdish, Sponge Cola, The Youth, Tungaw, Narda, Color it Red, Pan, Boy Elroy, Silent Sanctuary, Urban Dub, Nuncy Spungen, Radioactive Sago Project, Agaw Agimat, Blast Ople, Cattski, Kate Torralba, Syke, Squid9, The Blazing Bulalakaws, The Brew, The Makiling Ensemble, Popgun, Kamikazee, Sacramento, Grasspipe, Durins Bane, Candyaudioline, Lester Cannon, Super Looge, Plane Divides the Sky, The Purplechickens, Sun Valley Crew, Kjwan, Kapatid, and Cambio!

Aside from our regular monthly gigs at Freedom Bar, ADMIT ONE has likewise helmed a number of significant productions that have deviated from the usual bar gigs. Foremost among these was Emergency, a benefit concert held last March 18, 2003, for the benefit of the victims of the tragic car accident at the Kamia Residence Hall in UP one month earlier. The concert was held at the UP Bahay ng Alumni in cooperation with Last Full Show Productions, UP Underground Music Community, and other organizations. Over 30 bands played for free and rocked the house that night.

Another noteworthy ADMIT ONE gig was held in July 5, 2003, wherein the entire show was captured on camera and aired over GMA 7’s Txtube program. The show, entitled ADMIT ONE: Anime Rocks!, turned out to be the highest rated episode of Txtube ever.

In August 23 of this year, ADMIT ONE held its very first regular show at Rock Radio Café in Alabang. Aimed at tapping a larger audience of young local music enthusiasts from the South, the gig had succeeded at that and then some. By 10pm, the show had already drawn the largest audience ever to enter Rock Radio Café, surpassing all previous records at the venue.
